One Lord – Abiding in Christ

• I am the vine; you are the branches.  If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. – John 15: 5

The three Commitments of a Christian

• Then he said to them all, “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily and follow me”. - Luke 9: 23

Four Resources

• Live in the Word.
  • If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples.  Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. – John 8: 31, 32 
• Pray in Faith.
  • If you remain in me and my word remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.  – John 15: 7
• Fellowship with Believers.
  • A new commandment I give you:  Love one another.  As I have loved you, so you must love one another.  By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.  – John 13: 34 – 35
• Minister to Others.
  • Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. – John 15: 13
