Week 02 – Renew your mind
Romans 12: 1, 2 – I urge you, brothers, in view of God’ s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will.The two verses speak very clearly – that acknowledging God’s mercy is to offer myself as a Christian, not just in name-sake, but in my very act as a believer of God. I walk away, I flee from sins. At the same time, I continue to read His word and pray zealously (renewing of my mind). Through being close to him, I will know His will for my life.
